Imposition of Goods and Services Tax (GST) effective 1st April 2015
Kindly take note GST Act of 2014 has mandated that effective 1 April 2015 all provision of goods and services in Malaysia are subjected to GST. The rate charged is 6% on all taxable supply of goods and services which covers our licence fee as it falls under the definition of taxable services.
We further write to inform you that we have registered with Royal Malaysian Customs and our GST registration number is 001410465792.Thus, we will have no choice but to levy the 6% GST on the licence fee payable for the licensing period effective from 1st April 2015.
